Enjoy art in our outer lobby with art from Collegetown Gallery. The Collegetown Gallery is held each First Friday of the month to showcase a local colleges art program, students and teachers. A different exhibit can be seen in the front lobby of the CAC each month from 5pm to 8pm, and then on the second floor lobby for the remainder of the month.
Student artist for November is Sami Cutrona. Sami is a senior studying photography and art history at Lycoming College. Her exhibit, entitled “Vietnam Today” is a visual representation of her study abroad this past summer.
The Williamsport Area High School Special Populations will be showcasing their artwork they’ve made as well in the theater’s lobby. Students experiment with a variety of materials including colored pencil, watercolor, tempera, and printmaking under the guidance of their teacher, Mallory Scoppa. Their work mimics their studies of Vincent Van Gogh, Wassily Kandinsky as well as others.
