Interested in becoming a “Goodwill Ambassador”? We are always welcoming new volunteers who are interested in assisting with the theatre’s success. All volunteers must attend a New Volunteer Training session and must be at least 18 years of age prior to assisting with their first event in the theatre. Since its inception in 1993, the Community Arts Center’s volunteer program has been an integral part in welcoming and successfully serving the 2 million patrons that have walked through our doors. Many of these loyal volunteers have been with the program since it began, and we couldn’t be more grateful and proud of their hard work and dedication.
Our volunteers serve as “Goodwill Ambassadors” to our theatre and are a vital and necessary part of our guests’ positive experience. The high level of service that the volunteers provide to our patrons ensures a favorable and lasting impression, while also guaranteeing their safety and comfort during an event. Volunteers serve many functions at the Journey Bank Community Arts Center such as greeting and directing patrons upon their arrival, ticketing, ushering, assisting guests with special needs, and being of service to all patrons with questions and concerns. We are honored and humbled by the hours that our loyal, devoted volunteers give to us each performance series. Bravo!
