Do you ever feel as if everything is pointing you towards something…space, time, history?
For longtime “Outlander” fans, these words feel like home. As the global phenomenon reaches its conclusion in 2026, its heart continues to beat on stage with Outlander in Concert. The officially licensed live concert experience was created in collaboration with its showrunner Matthew B. Roberts and original Emmy Award-winning composer Bear McCreary.
Like the stones of Craigh na Dun that carried Claire through time to Jamie, this symphonic experience guides audiences through love and loss, past and future, Scotland and beyond. The iconic score by Bear McCreary takes centerstage, performed live by an orchestra, while the series’ most stirring moments unfold on a cinema‑sized screen.
Outlander in Concert celebrates the show’s rich heritage, its timeless characters, and the sweeping landscapes that made us fall in love. Premiering in Scotland, the heart and home of “Outlander,” Echoes of The Highlands will fill the air, reminding us that this is not the end… but just the beginning.
Officially licensed by Sony Pictures Television and in collaboration with official broadcaster Starz, this concert is a love letter to the story that captured millions of hearts across the world.
Through time. Through love. Through music.

ABOUT BEAR McCREARY: Emmy and BAFTA Award–winning composer and recording artist Bear McCreary began his career as a protégé of legendary film composer Elmer Bernstein, before bursting onto the scene scoring the revered series Battlestar Galactica in 2004. Since then, McCreary has won three Emmy Awards, including two for Disney’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and has won twelve International Film Music Critics Association Awards, including the award for Score of the Year in 2024, his second. Project highlights include The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (Amazon); Foundation (Apple TV+); Outlander (STARZ); AMC’s global phenomenon The Walking Dead; Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla: King of the Monsters; and Netflix’s Academy Award–nominated documentary Crip Camp (produced by Barack and Michelle Obama). In 2024, McCreary released “The Singularity,” a hard-rock concept album featuring legendary rock talent including Slash, Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Rufus Wainwright, and more. MATTHEW B. ROBERTS
Showrunner / Executive Producer / Writer
Matthew B. Roberts’ contribution to the “Outlander” television series has been integral from the beginning. As part of the creative team responsible for bringing this internationally recognized show to screen since the very first season, Roberts has written nine episodes and co-written five episodes. He also directed the finale of Season Three, “Eye of the Storm,” as well as serving as second unit director for six seasons. He was co-showrunner on Seasons Three and Four, eventually taking the helm as showrunner of Seasons Five through Eight.
Roberts began his television career as an assistant to Carol Flint, an Emmy Award-winning television writer and executive producer. He then became a researcher for “Law & Order,” before selling a pilot based on his own experiences as a paramedic. He graduated to a writing position for the “Battlestar Galactica” prequel, “Caprica,” working for writer and executive producer Ronald D. Moore. He then re-teamed with Moore, writing the western-themed pilot “Hangtown.” Roberts’ emergency services background equipped him with the skills to lead his staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Though there remain challenges to be faced, including the continued effort to work within strict health protocols that prioritize cast and crew safety above all else, Roberts is eager to bring “Outlander,” a much-beloved show, recently picked up for an eighth and final season, to audiences around the world.
