In the 70’s, everyone had horns. Think Earth, Wind and Fire, the Average White Band, Chicago, even Funkadelic. What’s the through line? Horns and horn sections.  And then the 80’s came and fascination with technology plunged music into the synthesizer age. The less said about that the better. Who needs horns, or a Hammond B3, for that matter when you get it all out of a machine? The horror.

One group remained true to the music and near single-handedly carried the torch for full-on 10-piece bands into the 21st century. That proud survivor is Tower of Power. Since its formation in 1968 in Oakland, CA, Tower of Power has been bringing full-throated live music, and multiple chart-topping albums, to the U.S. and international audiences, and they’ve never stopped.

Tower of Power has shared the stage with musical legends like Elton John, Neil Diamond, and Aerosmith (just to name a few), but they are so darn good alone. They really don’t need the help. Tower Of Power’s cool classic Soul and Funk sound will delight music lovers of all ages and tastes. It won’t just take you back. It will take you forward to euphoria. We dare you to stay in your seat.
