Crash land into your seat with The Rocket Man Show, starring Scotsman Rus Anderson – Elton John’s official stunt and body double as featured in the ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ world tour.Chosen by Elton himself, Rus pilots a night of greatest hits, while slamming the piano and wearing Elton’s actual personally owned costumes from the 1970’s. As featured on E! Rus’ portrayal has been described as “Amazing” by Jimmy Fallon and “Phenomenal” by Queen’s Adam Lambert. The Rocket Man Show has quickly joined the list of must-see tickets in town and is perhaps summed up best by ‘All About That Bass’ megastar Meghan Trainor who claims “You IS Elton!” It’s one small step for man…one giant leap for Elton John fans. Martin Media Presents WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY?

WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? is 90 minutes of hilarious improvised comedy and song all based on audience suggestions. Cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray will leave you gasping with the very witty scenes they invent before your eyes. Audience participation is key to the show so bring your suggestions and you might be asked to join the cast onstage! WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? showcases some of the improv games made famous on the long-running TV show as well as some exciting new ones, featuring musical direction by Laura Hall. The Uptown Music Collective presents WUMC: The Spirit of ’76 The Year That Defined Radio Rock

The year was 1976, and rock radio was on fire. “Hotel California.” “More Than a Feeling.” “Carry On Wayward Son.” “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper.” And that’s just the beginning. Aerosmith, KISS, Heart, Steve Miller Band, Peter Frampton, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and more—the soundtrack of an extraordinary year in rock music- brought roaring back to the stage. For the Uptown Music Collective’s 84th major performance, the students of its Special Performance Group will turn the Journey Bank Community Arts Center stage into WUMC, a live rock radio broadcast celebrating the music of 1976, with local radio personalities joining them onstage. UMC performances are known for their energy, passion, and excitement. As one audience member put it: “Watching them live, I never think about them being kids. It’s only when I see them after the show that I’m like, ‘That’s impossible.” WUMC: The Spirit of ’76 is scheduled for Friday, November 20, & Saturday, November 21, at 7:30 p.m.

I Feel Like a Woman!,” “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” “Chattahoochee,” “Fancy,” and “The Thunder Rolls.” In a world of AI-generated music, algorithms, and songs consumed seconds at a time, you might think this good old-fashioned, down-home music wouldn't connect with a new generation. You’d be wrong. The young musicians of the Uptown Music Collective’s Special Performance Group are about to prove that a great song, played with heart, never gets old. Now the young musicians of the Uptown Music Collective’s Special Performance Group are stepping into that world over two nights, celebrating the look, the attitude, and the music that made the era unforgettable. Bon Jovi. Def Leppard. Mötley Crüe. Poison. Whitesnake. Twisted Sister. Quiet Riot. Ratt. Cinderella. Skid Row. And songs like “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Kickstart My Heart,” “Nothin’ but a Good Time,” “Here I Go Again,” and “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” Turn it up.
